Jurisly ("Jurisly", "we", "our", or "us"), operated by OmniMorph Private Limited (CIN: U62013WB2025PTC279832), having its registered office at A/4/3, Sucharu Residency, Kuikota, Midnapore, West Midnapore – 721 101, West Bengal, India, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data processed through the Jurisly platform. Jurisly is a legal workspace that helps law firms and legal professionals manage cases, collaborate with clients, and use AI-assisted tools for drafting, summarisation and research, and that lets individuals seeking legal help post and track a case.

This Policy is framed around India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 with the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

Who we are in data terms

For personal data you provide, Omnimorph (operating Jurisly) acts as the Data Fiduciary and you are the Data Principal. We process personal data on the basis of your consent and for legitimate uses connected with providing the platform, and we limit processing to those purposes (purpose limitation and data minimisation).

What we collect

• Account and profile data: name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), one-time-password (OTP) login details, and optional profile information.
• Workspace and case data: workspace, case and membership details, invoices, calendar entries, tasks, and forum posts you create.
• Content you add: documents and case files you upload or connect. These may contain confidential information belonging to you, a law firm or its clients.
• Technical data: device information, IP address, browser type, session and usage data, collected automatically to keep the platform secure and reliable.

Where your documents live

Your case files and documents reside in your own connected cloud storage — Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox you connect. Jurisly accesses them only under the permissions you grant and applies role-based access controls. Jurisly does not host or sell your documents.

What Jurisly stores on its own infrastructure (Amazon Web Services, Mumbai region) is limited to account and profile data, workspace/case metadata, chat metadata, and the search indexes/embeddings used to power AI retrieval features.

Connections to the platform are encrypted in transit (TLS). No system can guarantee absolute security of information transmitted or stored electronically.

AI features

AI-assisted features help you draft, summarise and research. To generate a response, your prompt and the relevant document context are sent to the AI provider you or your firm selects, which may include Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google (Gemini), Mistral, Meta Llama (served via Groq) and Sarvam AI. Firms may also configure their own API keys (bring-your-own-key). Each provider processes data under its own terms. AI output is assistance only and should be reviewed and verified by you before reliance — it is not a substitute for licensed counsel.

Sub-processors

We rely on the following service providers to operate Jurisly:

• Amazon Web Services — hosting (Mumbai region).
• Razorpay — payment processing for in-app subscriptions and credits.
• AI providers — Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Mistral, Groq and Sarvam AI (for AI features, subject to your selection / your own keys).
• Email delivery provider — transactional email (invites, invoices, notifications).

We do not run advertising and we do not sell your personal data.

Your rights as a Data Principal

Subject to the DPDP Act, you may:

• access a summary of the personal data we process about you;
• request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• request erasure of your personal data;
• withdraw consent you previously gave;
• exercise the right of grievance redressal; and
• nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.

We aim to acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and to resolve them within the period required by law.

Data retention and erasure

We retain personal data while your account remains active and for as long as required to provide the service or to comply with legal obligations. On a valid erasure request, we delete personal data subject to any retention the law requires. AI retrieval indexes are removed when the underlying files or your account are deleted.

Data breaches

If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected Data Principals as required by the DPDP Act.

Children

The platform is intended for professional users and adults. It is for individuals 18 years or older, and we do not knowingly process the personal data of children.

International processing

Personal data is primarily processed in India (AWS, Mumbai). Where AI providers process data outside India, this is done consistent with the transfer provisions of the DPDP Act.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will note the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate. By using Jurisly, you acknowledge the practices described here.
